A Milam County judge has sentenced a Taylor man to 30 years in prison for enhanced possession of controlled substances.

Charles Ray Wright, 49, will serve his time behind bars in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, prosecutors said.

As of Wednesday evening, July 8, Wright remained in the Milam County Jail awaiting a transfer to a prison facility.
