Old Ardmore High School apartment plan clears first hurdle

(KXII) - The old Ardmore High School building on North Washington Street has sat empty for decades.

The owner is now asking the city for a conditional use permit to turn it into apartments."She wants to have multi-family living in it. 36 apartment units is what's proposed at this time," said Jessica Scott, Ardmore Community Development Director.

Planning commission recommends approvalThe project cleared its first hurdle Thursday when the planning commission unanimously recommended city commissioners approve the permit.
