GARVIN COUNTY, Okla.
(KXII) - A federal jury has convicted a former Garvin County Jail detention deputy for violating an inmate's civil rights, failing to meet their medical needs in a case that prosecutors say resulted in the inmate's death.
Paula Kelley was convicted of being deliberately indifferent to pretrial detainee Kayla Turley's serious medical needs, resulting in her death.
