Hard rock band Kingdom Collapse might be known for performing at venues and festivals across the country, but the band's origin began with a friendship between two guys that grew up next door to each other in New Braunfels.

Vocalist Jonathan Norris and bassist Aaron Smith met at 5 years old as neighbors in Oak Run.

The duo grew up together, attended church at Oakwood and shared a love of music, but ultimately went separate directions as adults.
