MADISONVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - A new mural in Madisonville is celebrating a major milestone in U.S. history while spotlighting local pride and culture.

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and community members gathered Monday at 101 W. Trinity St. to unveil the artwork as part of the Coca-Cola Company's nationwide Paint the Nation initiative marking America's 250th Birthday.

Madisonville was one of the select communities to receive a mural as part of the campaign."We unveiled a beautiful mural here in Madisonville, Texas, which is in celebration of America's 250th birthday," said Ada Ortega with Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages.
