Dr. Peter Kwan and his wife, Shirley, recently announced they are deepening their commitment to the Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville with a five-year, $500,000 pledge to spark a fundraising campaign for a new infirmary on the camp property.

Dr. Kwan, a family practice physician from Sugar Land, Texas, has served as associate medical director at the camp during specialized camp sessions for children with diabetes for several summers.

"He has faithfully invested his time and talent in Texas Lions Camp and played an integral role in developing and overseeing the medical protocols that help keep our campers safe," said Lions Camp Executive Director Stephen Mabry.
