TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man previously convicted of a child pornography charge has pleaded guilty to a second charge.

John Matthew Emerson, 42, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography Tuesday before U.S. Magistrate Judge K. Nicole Mitchell, according to a U.S. Attorney's Office release.

Emerson was on supervised release from his previous possession of child pornography when inappropriate material was found on a cell phone in his possession, the release states.
