A food truck tied to the 250th U.S. birthday celebration arrived at the South Texas Food Bank in Laredo, bringing tens of thousands of pounds of donated food.

LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - A food truck tied to the 250th U.S. birthday celebration arrived at the South Texas Food Bank (STFB) in Laredo on June 24, bringing tens of thousands of pounds of donated food and drawing volunteers to help sort it for distribution.
The donation is part of a nationwide effort involving 250 trucks, each carrying about 35,000 to 40,000 pounds of food.
