Authorities said a former law enforcement officer was arrested after reportedly presenting himself as a current law enforcer.

Schertz Police investigated an incident in which Schertz resident Justin Wayne Reed, 60, reportedly flashed a badge to residents though he is no longer an officer and then arrested Reed on a charge of impersonating a police officer, Schertz Police Public Information Officer Anna Kraft said.
