The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department will reopen two segments of the Kerrville River Trail on Friday, Oct. 9, marking another step forward in the City's ongoing recovery efforts.
Trail users will once again be able to access the sections of the River Trail from the Schreiner University Trailhead, 2100 Memorial Blvd., to G Street Trailhead, 124 G St., and from G Street Trailhead to Birkdale Trailhead, 255 Birkdale Ln. The City of Kerrville thanks the volunteers who have helped assess damage, clear debris, address hazards, and restore public access where conditions allow.
The reopening of these segments reflects continued recovery work and allows the community to once again enjoy portions of one of Kerrville's most valued recreational resources.
