BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Navasota's city council unanimously approved an economic development deal with a multinational manufacturer Monday night - and the public still doesn't know what their elected officials agreed to.

What's at StakeEVAPCO - a worldwide manufacturing company specializing in cooling technologies and water treatment systems, including those used in data centers and advanced technology manufacturing - plans to build a "manufacturing facility for heat-transfer equipment and thermal-management systems for cooling, refrigeration, and industrial processing applications," according to a Grimes County agenda slated for discussion Wednesday morning.

It would follow SpaceX's Terafab as the second major manufacturer with designs on growing Grimes County's technology manufacturing sector, and could be among the first in a wave of global companies seeking sites near the Terafab development - similar to the explosive growth of third-party manufacturers that followed Samsung to Williamson County.
