The Fredericksburg High School varsity boys' cross country team placed second at the Mason Cross Country Invitational Meet in Mason last Wednesday.

"Another strong race by our guys as we ran our last race before district next week," FHS boys cross country coach Jason Roemer said.

"We finished second amongst 16 teams and had all seven varsity runners run under 19 minutes for the 5K for the first time all season." Three varsity runners placed in the top 10 individually.
