PASADENA, Texas (KTRK) -- The Pasadena Police Department said one person has died and three others are in the hospital after a crash near Beltway 8 at Pasadena Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.

Officials said the crash involved two vehicles, resulting in four people being rushed to the hospital, where one of the victims was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said the northbound side of the Beltway 8 service road at Pasadena Boulevard is shut down as the crash investigation continues.
