Demolition will begin Tuesday at the former Greenspoint Mall as developers prepare to transform part of the longtime North Houston property into a $150 million industrial park.

The demolition ceremony is scheduled for 9 a.m. and is expected to include Houston Mayor John Whitmire and other city leaders.

The redevelopment, known as CityNorth Industrial Park, will cover approximately 80 acres at 12300 North Freeway, near Interstate 45 and Beltway 8.
