Kia issued a recall for 462,869 Telluride SUVs due to the risk of a fire.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration stated in a recall notice that external impact with force to the "front power seat side cover or seat slide knob" could cause damage to the power seat switch.

And this may lead to overheating of a seat motor, which elevates the risk of a fire while driving or while parked.
