The Jourdanton Junior High cheer squad recently held its annual summer cheer camp in the Jourdanton Junior High gym, where team members spent the week developing their skills under the guidance of a Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) instructor.

Throughout the camp, the cheerleaders learned stunts, cheers, chants and dance routines while preparing for the upcoming school year.

On the final day, the squad showcased what they had learned during a performance for parents and family members.
