TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler woman was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for the capital murder of a 22-year-old man killed in 2017.

Jayksia Rodgers, 33, was charged in the shooting death of Joshua Alon McGee, who died Aug. 11, 2017, in the 1600 block of East Lawrence Street in Tyler.

Her sentence will be served concurrently with a previous aggravated assault sentence.
