UPSHUR COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A large underage party held illegally on private property was dispersed on Sunday, according to the Upshur County Precinct 1 Constable's.

Officers with the constable's office and several other law enforcement organizations responded to a location off Wren Road after learning about the party from information on social media promoting the event.

According to the constable's office, the event was being promoted to minors on social media, with concerns that alcohol and illegal narcotics would be present.
