The City of Bangs shared the following information with Brownwood News Thursday morning: The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) recently announced that Bangs City Administrator Erica Berry has completed an eight month-long program for New & Emerging City Managers.

According to Todd Little, Executive Director "We believe it will be individuals like Erica that will help keep our professionals at the forefront of municipal leadership in the DFW Region and across Texas. It will also be quality employers like the City of Bangs who will continue to support the need for ongoing training and development in this essential field." This program served as the eighth session of developing current and future leaders in the public finance industry.

It was an application/referral process whereby NCTCOG selected a cohort of 21 individuals to participate.
