Families eagerly clapped and cheered as they watched youth soccer, softball and baseball games at Zipp Family Sports Park on Saturday during the facility's official grand opening.

The special event also featured soccer shootouts, a hit and run competition and a variety of games and bounce houses for attendees to enjoy.

Spanning 150 acres, the park includes four soccer fields, four baseball fields and four softball fields, as well as concessions and more than 600 parking spaces.
