SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Two men were arrested Monday in Sherman and accused of racing down Texoma Parkway.

According to the Sherman Police Department, an officer saw two vehicles racing side-by-side near the 2500 block of Texoma Parkway shortly before 9:30 p.m. After an investigation, police arrested Juan Velazquez, 29, and Angel Galdamez Avalos, 19, on class B misdemeanor charges of racing on a highway.

Jail records show both men have since bonded out of jail.
