Gov. Greg Abbott visited the Rio Grande Valley to announce legislation capping the cost of inhalers and epinephrine at $25 per month as part of his Affordability Agenda Initiative tour.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Gov. Greg Abbott visited the Valley as part of his Affordability Agenda Initiative tour.

At a pharmacy in Mission, Abbott announced his intention to introduce legislation capping the cost of inhalers and epinephrine at $25 per month.

The proposal builds on a 2021 law that placed the same limit on insulin.
