MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Scammers are calling Midland residents trying to trick them into sharing personal and financial information.

The City of Midland says callers are telling people they've won a prize or reward from a local business.

The scammers may ask for personal details and, in some cases, money to cover "shipping" or "processing" fees.
