MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Midland city crews are responding to a manhole collapse near the intersection of Main Street and Wall Street.

The southbound lanes of Main Street, just north of the Main and Wall intersection, are closed while crews assess the damage and determine what repairs are needed.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway can be reopened.
