LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Luke Saintignan started his 3D printing hobby making dragons, jets and chess pieces, like many do.

But in June, he stumbled on a design that gives his printing great purpose by helping children with mobility issues to get around.

He had never given much thought to 3D printing.
