LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - No injuries were reported after a power line was pulled down at a Longview intersection Tuesday afternoon.

An 18-wheeler snagged a power line and pulled it down at the corner of Sixth Street and Whaley in Longview around 1 p.m., according to a witness.

Billy Turner, an employee at Lobo Tire near the intersection, said he watched the large truck catch the cable and pull it like a rubber band before it snapped back and struck a white van parked at the intersection.
