(KGNS) - The Laredo Fire Department is hosting a series of informational sessions for those interested in careers as firefighters or paramedics.

The sessions, beginning Aug. 14, will cover the fire academy, eligibility requirements, the application process and what it takes to serve as a firefighter and paramedic.
