(KGNS) - FIFA is going cashless at every stadium for the World Cup, requiring fans to leave their cash at home if they plan to attend matches in Monterrey, Dallas or any other host city.

Juan Carlos Mendoza, consul of Mexico in Laredo, said the policy applies to all purchases inside the venues."A hamburger, a hot dog, they want to drink a beer or a soda. They need to pay with debit card, credit card or any electronic way of payment," Mendoza said.
