If it hadn't been for Mrs. Thomas Daniel, there probably wouldn't have been a celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Rails, a Caf at the Depot.

There wouldn't have been more than 61 Sons of the American Revolution members and guests in attendance, there wouldn't have been dignitaries and live entertainment, and the day wouldn't have benchmarked a day in SAR history.

But thanks to "Mickey" Daniel, this chapter was formed 50 years ago.
