LAREDO, Tex.

(KGNS) - A 27-year-old Laredo woman was arrested after Laredo police said five children and a dog were found in an SUV outside a hardware store on San Bernardo Ave. Police said officers responded at about 4:55 p.m. on June 22 after receiving a report that three children were selling candy while their mother was asleep inside a vehicle.

Officers found Casey Lynn Carolina Hernandez asleep inside an SUV, police said.
