LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Lufkin Panthers sit at 1-1 in District 9-5A Division I, hoping to pick up their second district win on Friday night at home against Beaumont United.

KTRE sports director Colten Sneed spoke with Lufkin head coach Carl Abseck on the Red Zone Preview show.

After a 2-2 start to the season, Abseck said the team has focused on making weekly improvements.
