LETTERS TO THE EDITOR Editor, I want to provide a statement regarding my experience serving as a judge for the Kendall County Fair pageant.

I can confirm that I was not paid, instructed who to vote for, coerced, pressured or manipulated in any way regarding my judging decisions.

My scores and my decisions were entirely my own and were based solely on my observations of each contestant throughout the competition.
