We first met Klein Oak High School junior Andrew Marks after he won the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble and began raising his first show heifer.

Now, with the school year back in session, Marks is juggling early mornings, classes, FFA responsibilities, and livestock shows as he works toward a return to the Houston Rodeo next March.

And for Marks, the work starts long before the first school bell.
