Houston police are investigating after a body was recovered from Brays Bayou near Martin Luther King Boulevard in southeast Houston on Wednesday morning.

Houston police are investigating after a body was recovered from Brays Bayou in southeast Houston Wednesday morning.
According to the Houston Fire Department and Houston Police Department, crews were called around 7:05 a.m. to the 4500 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard after someone reported seeing a body floating in the water.
Emergency responders recovered the body and pronounced the person dead at the scene.
