One person dead after shooting Wednesday night
One person was killed in a shooting in the 5000 block of 38th Street in Lubbock on Wednesday night, with the Special Crimes Unit investigating the incident.

LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating in the 5000 block of 38th Street.
LPD said officers responded to a report of shots fired at 11:07 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Upon arrival officers located one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
