BULLARD, Texas (KLTV) - The Bullard ISD Board of Trustees approved lowering its total tax rate by one-fifteenth of a cent when it met Monday at the district's administration building.

Board members called a special meeting to approve the district's $34. 3 million budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year and adopt a lower maintenance and operations tax rate.

The district approved a $34,322,370 budget and a total tax rate of $1. 2313 per $100 valuation, including a $0. 7313 maintenance and operations (M&O) rate and a $0. 50 interest and sinking (I&S) rate.
