Italian author Claudio Trezzani has made his English literary debut with a crime novel set in Gruene.

"The Wolf" combines his love of music and travel to tell the tale of a contentious relationship between country musicians, unyielding detective work and a mysterious international connection between Texas and Spain.

In addition to being a self-published, independent author, Trezzani is a music blogger with a mission to "spread the word about American independent music, both in Italy and the States," he said.
