Boerne High had a solid opening-season win last Friday against Round Rock Westwood and it was their first-opening day victory since 2022.

Greyhounds coach Brett Sawyer said while they didn't "wow" anybody with the win, it's a victory and something to build on.

The Greyhounds (1-0) look to build on their 34-14 win Friday at home against the Laredo United Longhorns.
