BIG SRPING, Texas (KOSA) - A Howard County man accused in the death of a woman who had been missing since 2024 is scheduled for a pretrial hearing.

Perches is charged with murder, a first-degree felony, in connection with the death of 39-year-old Amanda Bates, according to KBest Media and the court docket.

He is set to appear in court at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, before Judge Timothy D. Yeats.
