GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - A large column of dark smoke was visible from the Grand Prairie area as firefighters worked the scene.

What we know: Grand Prairie firefighters worked to extinguish a fire involving at least 30 vehicles in the parking lot of a commercial warehouse on Sunday afternoon, according to Grand Prairie fire officials.

The fire was reported about 3:48 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Avenue J, according to the Grand Prairie Fire Department.
