Patriotic pets prance at park for pet parade
Bandera held its 30th annual Pet Parade on July 4th, featuring dozens of patriotically-dressed pets competing for awards, with a golden doodle named Moon Pie winning Best of Show.

Dozens of four-legged contestants participated in Bandera's 30th annual Pet Parade on Saturday, July 4.
Sponsored by the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League (CCPAL), this event welcomes pets of all sorts to participate in a pageant of patriotic cuteness.
Karen Hensley, a volunteer with CCPAL, provided The Bulletin with the final results.
