BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - The Bell County Sheriff's Office says deputies shot and injured a suspect Friday afternoon while responding to a reported violent domestic disturbance east of Holland.

According to the sheriff's office, dispatchers received a 911 call around 12:37 p.m. June 19 reporting a disturbance in the 18000 block of Farm-to-Market Road 2268. The caller reported the incident involved an individual experiencing a mental health crisis.

Deputies responded, contacted the reporting party and attempted to make contact with the suspect, the sheriff's office said.
