Median price of homes in U.S. hit an all-time high as sales in Houston area slow down

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The median price of a home in the U.S. hit an all-time high of $440,600 in June, according to the National Association of Realtors.

In the Houston area, the median home price is approximately $345,000, according to the Houston Association of Realtors.

Prices continue to heat up as sales are beginning to cool down.
