TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - Baylor Scott and White in Temple celebrated National Cancer Survivor's Day, honoring survivors from across Central Texas.

More than 18 million cancer survivors live in the U.S. according to Baylor Scott and White, but the day is usually celebrated across the country on June 7th.

This morning survivors, their loved ones and hospital staff came together at the Glenda Tanner Vasicek Cancer Center at the Temple hospital to share testimonies about fighting cancer and the support needed for patients.
