LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Lubbock Fire Rescue is proud to announce the addition of Brush 206, the department's newest wildland firefighting apparatus, now in service at Fire Station 20.

Brush 206 has been strategically assigned to Fire Station 20, home to Lubbock Fire Rescue's Wildland Crew and Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System (TIFMAS) team.

The specialized apparatus strengthens the department's ability to respond to wildland fires throughout the City of Lubbock while also increasing statewide emergency deployment capabilities through TIFMAS.
