COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M University is preparing to mark its 150th anniversary with a sesquicentennial celebration set to begin this fall as students return to campus.

The celebration has been in the planning process for two years.

The celebration plans to highlight A&M's history as well as center on the university's core values -- excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service.
