GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) -A Denison-based aviation company performed an A-4 Skyhawk jet flyover during Sherman's "Lights on the Lake" 250th anniversary celebration at Pecan Grove Park - and Grayson County Judge Bruce Dawsey was in the back seat.

Legionnaire International, located on Airport Drive in Denison, tests weapon systems, avionics and other equipment for companies selling products to the military."It's a flight testing service for the military. So we go out there and we test weapon systems and avionics and all this kind of stuff for different companies that are selling their product to the government," said Director of Flight Operations Gabe Denson.

How it came togetherOrganizers initially pursued a military flyover but said the process was not started early enough.
