EDITOR'S NOTE: The Boerne Star meets twice monthly with Kendall County Health Inspector Steven Kotsatos and his staff, to bring us our newest feature, "Where Kendall County Eats: A Closer Look." Check-ins conducted by the Kendall County health inspector found most local restaurants operating at a high level of compliance this week, though a few were directed to take corrective action for a handful of violations.

Scores ranged from 90 to 97, with inspectors noting concerns involving improper cooling temperatures, possible contamination and unclean areas.
