BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- The Baytown Police Department says they are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that left a man and a woman dead Friday afternoon.

According to Baytown PD, officers responded to a home at 2 p.m. in the 200 block of Southwood Circle.

Baytown PD says that the man claimed that he had shot and killed his wife and he was contemplating suicide.
