Baytown standoff ends with woman's surrender; accused of shooting father and pistol-whipping mother
A 42-year-old woman in Baytown surrendered to police after allegedly shooting her father and pistol-whipping her mother during a family disturbance.

BAYTOWN, Texas - A standoff in Baytown between law enforcement and an armed woman ended with her surrendering and being taken into custody Thursday.
The Baytown Police Department says they were called at approximately 1:15 p.m. to a reported family disturbance in the 400 block of Rollingwood Drive.
Police say 42-year-old Melissa Rodriguez allegedly shot her father in the hand and struck her mother with a pistol during the incident.
